fantastic service..I always thought AAMCO was too high priced but I took a chance and brought my 2005 range rover to Sam..He was one of the nicest guys I have ever dealt with in the auto industry and did everything he could to keep the price low ..I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for transmission work.

Jose and Mary made what felt like a nightmare turn into a great experience for me when I was out of state and my transmission went out!

***EDIT*** Owner called to remedy my concerns the next day. Will be meeting with him tomorrow afternoon. Took my 2014 Ram 1500 in twice. The first time because I was having a misfire code, spoke with Sam on the phone and said "bring it in, we aren't too busy and let us have a look at it ". I arrived about 10 minutes later. About 30 minutes he said I need a tune up, change my coil packs, new plugs (16 of them. Hemi.) , changed a worn belt and an oil change plus filter. $1500,$600 deposit and rest paid upon completion. I asked "after all of this will my truck run normally and check engine light turn off?" He said" all problems will go away". I brought my truck back 8am and got a call late in the afternoon saying the vehicle is done. I asked" how did everything go?" He responded " it's running great! And everything was fixed." As soon as I pull off the lot the check engine light starts flashing within minutes. I called the shop but no answer, Sam texts me and said he was busy but will call back. I texted him the problem was not fixed, check engine light was lighting up and truck drove exactly the same way as it did when I dropped it off. He seemed puzzled at this news and asked me to drop it off the following day due to it being late in the day. I drove it to Dodge and had them diagnosis it with the computer and truck shown multiple codes, including the original codes he promised would be fixed. I sent him a text showing a picture of what Dodge said. He didn't believe it and said something must be loose and it'll be fixed the following day. Next day comes and I dropped it off, hours later comes and he says word for word "The only thing my guys could do would be replace the motor, I might be able to find you a shop that could actually rebuild it, the only problem is cylinder five is dead, you still have the other seven." Probably could have done a compression test the first time before recommended a $1500 job that didn't fix a thing. Gave 2 stars because the owner seems like a great guy and place is clean and looked well equipped. Lost 3 stars for the "manager" not knowing what to do with my truck and digging a deeper hole in my pocket. I also had a 150 dollar JBL speaker in my truck that vanished during the second visit to the shop. Called Sam and he told me he quit. How ironic. Original visit 4/19/24 second visit 4/22-23/24.
